Calderys & Binzagr launch strategic refractory partnership

Calderys, a provider of refractory solutions, and Binzagr have formed a strategic partnership to expand Calderys' presence in the Middle East refractory market. This collaboration builds on their successful 20-year history, specifically involving Calderys' Americas brand, HWI.

The alliance is centered on a brand-new refractory production facility located in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The 16,300 square meter plant will feature a state-of-the-art monolithic line for dense and lightweight refractory castables, coupled with a line for precast shapes and lances.

Operated by Calderys and manufacturing products under both HWI and Calderys trademarks, the facility is scheduled to begin production in April 2026. It will primarily serve Saudi Arabia, the region's largest refractory market, catering to the key industries, such as iron and steel, aluminum, and petrochemicals.
