Brazil launches AD investigation on seamless carbon steel pipes

The Brazilian authority initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation into imports of seamless carbon steel pipes for conduction (line pipe), used for oil or gas pipelines. The case covers products with an external diameter not exceeding five nominal inches or 141.3 mm classified under Harmonized System Code subheading 7304.19.00.

The investigation targets subject merchandise originating from India, Malaysia, and Thailand. The petition requesting the probe was filed by Vallourec Soluções Tubulares do Brasil S.A. The analysis of evidence of dumping considered the period from January to December 2024. The period for analyzing injury was considered the period from January 2020 to December 2024.
