GMH Gruppe has officially opened a new state-of-the-art rolling mill at its Georgsmarienhütte site in Germany, investing EUR 26 million in a modernization strategy.

The core innovation is the integration of two high-performance three-roll blocks from Kocks, the only such flexible configuration in Europe. This technological breakthrough allows the system to produce specialty steel bars with diameters ranging from 20 mm to 130 mm, with a perspective maximum of 142 mm.

The new mill, featuring the upgraded RSB 370++ and newly built RSB 445++, offers customers in automotive, energy, and construction higher precision and significantly faster delivery. This unique flexibility strengthens GMH's competitiveness in producing tailor-made steel solutions.
