The US International Trade Administration (ITA) has announced the final revised results for the 2020 administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) on steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Turkey.

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) notified the public that the US Court of International Trade’s (CIT) final ruling in October is not in harmony with the USDOC’s final findings of the administrative review. As a result, the USDOC amended the subsidy rates assigned to Kaptan Demir Celik Endustrisi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Kaptan) and Icdas Celik Enerji Tersane ve Ulasim Sanayi A.Ş. (Icdas).

Based on the CIT's final decision, the USDOC determined that the revised subsidy rate for both Kaptan and Icdas and their cross-owned companies is 1.26%.
