Alleima, a Swedish producer of advanced stainless steels and special alloys, has inaugurated a new production mill in Zhenjiang, China. The SEK 255 million investment significantly expands the company's presence, which spans 40 years in the country.

The 12,500 m² cold-finishing mill doubles Alleima's production capacity in China. This expansion enables the company to offer a broader range of premium products, including tubular products for hydrogen, heat exchangers, and composite tubes, and ensures shorter lead times for customers across Asia.

The new facility supports growing demand from major industries such as petrochemical, medical, and pulp and paper, and is solar-powered, aligning with its Green Factory certification.
