USITC starts sunset reviews of AD & CVD duties on non-oriented electrical steel from 6 countries

1 Dec 2025 14:20 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has started sunset reviews concerning duties on non-oriented electrical steel (NOES) imported from six countries.

The reviews include anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on NOES from China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, and Taiwan. Besides, the countervailing duty (CVD) orders on imports from China and Taiwan are being reviewed.

The USITC will determine if revoking the existing AD and CVD duties would likely result in the continuation or recurrence of material injury to the US industry.

Interested parties must file their responses by December 31, 2025, and comments on the adequacy of the filings are due by February 6, 2026.
