Commercial Metals Company (CMC) has completed the acquisition of Concrete Pipe & Precast (CP&P) in an all-cash transaction valued at US$675 million.

CP&P, headquartered in Ashland, Virginia, supplies standard and high-spec precast concrete and reinforced concrete pipe products to the Mid-Atlantic and South Atlantic regions, and employs about 700 people.

The business was acquired from Eagle Corporation and ECPP, LLC. CMC said that CP&P will benefit from strong structural demand driven by data center construction, stormwater management, industrial reshoring, and infrastructure investment.

CMC also plans to complete an acquisition of Foley Products Company by the end of 2025, further expanding its precast concrete platform.
