Canada issues final AD ruling on carbon and alloy steel wire from 10 countries

On December 3, 2025, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a final determination of dumping on certain carbon and alloy steel wire originating or exported from ten countries, including China, Taiwan, India, Italy, Malaysia, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.

The anti-dumping rates are from 5.7% to 158.9% for different exporters and countries.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will continue an inquiry into the question of injury to the Canadian industry and will make decisions by January 2, 2026. The provisional duties will be imposed on the subject products from the subject countries until the CITT presents its decision.
