The Korea Trade Commission (KTC) launched its second anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation on H sections originating in China, based on applications submitted by domestic producers Hyundai Steel and Dongkuk Steel. The probe will determine if current AD duties on Chinese H sections should be extended.

The KTC will examine dumping practices between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, and assess domestic industry injury over the period from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2025.

Interested parties must register their participation within three weeks of the announcement.

The products involved are structural steel sections made of iron, non-alloy steel, or alloy steel with a biaxially symmetrical (up-down and left-right symmetry) cross-section in the shape of an H and a height of 80 mm or more. These products are under 7216.33.3000, 7216.33.4000, 7216.33.5000, 7228.70.1010, and 7228.70.1090.
