Turkey’s CRC imports increase in Jan-Oct y-o-y, South Korea leading supplier

According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey imported about 86,000 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in October, representing a 0.3% decrease from September but a 63.9% increase compared with October 2024. The total import value reached US$56 million, up by 0.9% month on month and 42.3% year on year.

From January to October, Turkey’s cold-rolled coil imports totaled nearly 886,500 tons, marking a 40.8% increase over the same period last year. The value was US$575.29 million, hiking by 18.1% year on year. Among them, South Korea was the leading supplier, exporting 285,000 tons of cold-rolled coils to Turkey.
