GMH Gruppe has upgraded its Georgsmarienhütte steel site by commissioning a new, state-of-the-art Reducing & Sizing Block (RSB® 445++/4) from KOCKS.

This investment strengthens the German producer's commitment to quality and delivery performance. The new mobile RSB is the largest and most advanced KOCKS block operating in Europe, enhancing the mill's flexibility and precision in steel rolling.

Jointly developed, the technology produces bar steel with outstanding dimensional tolerances and surface quality. The mobile block can automatically switch between two rolling lines, working with an existing RSB. It also features cutting-edge BAMICON Octopus software and measurement systems for quality assurance.
