Australia delays AD review ruling on China's rebar

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has announced a second extension for its anti-dumping (AD) review concerning steel reinforcing bar (rebar) imported from China’s Baowu Group Echeng Iron and Steel Co Ltd.

The Commission expects to release the Statement of Essential Facts (SEF) by no later than December 23, 2025. The final determination and recommendations will be submitted to the Minister for Industry and Science by February 16, 2026.

The products involved are hot-rolled deformed steel reinforcing bars with a diameter up to and including 50 mm, under HS codes 7213.10.00.42, 7214.20.00.47, 7227.90.10.69, 7227.90.90.01, 7227.90.90.02, 7227.90.90.04, 7228.30.10.70, 7228.30.90.40, and 7228.60.10.72.
