Turkey imposes 5-year AD duties on tinplate products from 5 countries

The Turkish Ministry of Trade has finalized its anti-dumping (AD) investigation into tinplate products from China, Germany, South Korea, Japan, and Serbia.

Effective immediately, the duty rate ranges from 23.88% to 50.08% of their CIF value for China, 5.53%-11.05% for Germany, 12.54%-16.28% for South Korea, 20.29%-43.37% for Japan, and 15.43%-36.87% for Serbia.

The products involved are flat rolled products of tinned iron or non-alloy steel, under HS codes 7210.11.00, 7210.12.20, 7210.90.40, 7212.10.10, 7212.10.90, and 7212.40.20. This duty will remain in place for five years.

The initial investigation was launched on June 28, 2024. The investigation period was 2023, and the injury investigation period was from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023.
