Australia proposes reduced AD duties on China’s rod in coil

26 Dec 2025 14:09 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission recommends adjusting the rate of interim dumping duty on China’s rod in coil to 13.9% from the previous 33.1%. The revised rates will take effect on April 23, 2026.

The current measure will expire on April 22, 2026. Authorities believe dumping may recur without an extension, despite no recorded exports from China during the investigation period from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

The products involved are hot-rolled steel rods in coils, whether or not containing alloys, with maximum cross sections less than 14mm, under HS codes 7213.91.00.44 and 7227.90.90.02.
