Nová Huť advances long-term transformation plan with 2026 investment focus

Czech steelmaker Nová Huť announced a series of structural investments in 2026, focusing on process optimization, equipment replacement, and energy efficiency improvements, with annual capital expenditures reaching CZK 150 million to enhance production stability and added value.

The company is also undertaking technical and planning preparations for the construction of an electric arc furnace, with an estimated investment of CZK 17 billion, which will enable an annual crude steel production capacity of 1.5 million tons. 

This plan integrates energy conservation and emission reduction, waste heat recovery, and improvements to the working environment as a crucial foundation for long-term competitiveness and sustainable operation.
