Ukraine's steelmaking company Interpipe Steel has commissioned Danieli to supply a new 310-mm round section for its continuous casting machine #2 (CCM #2). This modification allows the plant to produce 310-mm round billets, increasing overall production flexibility. The agreement includes detailed engineering as well as mechanical and process design to integrate the new section into the existing infrastructure.

The project aims to produce high-quality steel grades while maintaining the efficiency of the current casting operations. This development builds on the established technical relationship between the two companies.

The commissioning of the new equipment is scheduled before the end of the year.
