CBSA finalizes AD & CVD duties on China’s cast iron soil pipes

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) issued final dumping and subsidy determinations regarding cast iron soil pipe from China.

Statistics from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025 showed that Chinese imports represented 79% of the total market volume. The dumping margins were calculated between 155.5% and 294.2% for specific exporters, while all others face a rate of 444.2%. Besides, a subsidy rate of 28.5% applies to all exporters.

The products involved are under tariff codes 7303.00.00.10 and 7303.00.00.90.

Provisional duties remain in place until the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announces its injury decision, expected by February 6, 2026.
