Peru announces final AD ruling on China’s stainless steel sinks

Peru announced a final affirmative determination regarding stainless steel sinks from China on January 25, 2026. The new anti-dumping (AD) duties apply to stainless steel sinks weighing less than 23 kilograms under customs codes 7324.10.00.00, 7324.29.00.00, and 7324.90.00.00.

For sinks weighing 5.2 kilograms or less, the tax is US$1.56 per kilogram. Sinks weighing more than 5.2 kilograms and less than 23 kilograms face a rate of US$0.50 per kilogram. This measure will be effective for five years.

The investigation, which began in January 2025, analyzed dumping activities from July 2023 to June 2024 and injury data starting from January 2021 to June 2024.
