Turkish steelmaker Koç Metalurji announced a planned temporary shutdown of its Osmaniye plant to carry out routine maintenance and improvement works. Production will be suspended starting January 26, 2026, and is expected to resume around February 9, after an outage of approximately 15 days.

The company said the shutdown is aimed at completing scheduled maintenance and implementing measures to enhance production efficiency.

Koç Metalurji emphasized that the planned stoppage is not expected to have a significant impact on its overall operations or financial performance. Following completion of the works, the Osmaniye plant will restart in line with the company’s operating plans.
