US launches AD & CVD sunset reviews on light-walled rectangular pipes

2 Feb 2026 16:10 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The US International Trade Commission (USITC) will conduct a five-year review of import duties on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube. This investigation covers anti-dumping (AD) duties for China, Mexico, South Korea, and Turkey, as well as countervailing duties (CVD) specifically for China.

The review is to determine if revoking these trade measures would lead to the continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time for the domestic industry.

The overall review process was extended by up to 90 days, starting January 26, 2026. A public hearing is scheduled for June 25, 2026. All participants must submit their applications through the commission's electronic filing system.
