Ukraine launches AD investigation on Turkey’s welded steel pipes

According to a notice on January 29, Ukraine’s Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade launched an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on welded, non-galvanized steel pipe imports from Turkey.

Local producers, including Zaporizhstal, DMZ Kominmet, Trubostal, and Ilyich Steel, claimed these goods entered the market at dumped prices between 2021 and the first quarter of 2025.

According to the data of the complaint, imports of the product concerned from Turkey increased by 400% in absolute terms during the period. Imports surged by 348% relative to domestic consumption and by 692% compared with domestic production of similar goods.

The products involved are classified under tariff codes 7306 30 49 90, 7306 30 77 90, 7306 30 80 90, 7306 30 12 00, 7306 61 92 00, and 7306 61 99 00.
