The UK Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) launched an anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on January 27, 2026, regarding welded tubes and pipes from China and Belarus. This action responds to an application by Tata Steel UK Limited. The investigation determines if removing current AD measures would lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping and domestic industry injury.

The TRA set the dumping investigation period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, and the injury assessment period spans from October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2025.

The products involved are welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel, circular cross-section, external diameter not exceeding 168.3 mm, excluding line pipe for oil/gas pipelines, casing/tubing for oil/gas drilling, precision tubes, and tubes/pipes with fittings for civil aircraft gases/liquids. These products are under 7306.3041.20, 7306.3049.20, 7306.3072.80, and 7306.3077.80.
