Australia delays final AD ruling on welded steel mesh sheets from China, Malaysia

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission delayed its Statement of Essential Facts (SEF) and final report concerning certain welded steel mesh sheets from China and Malaysia.

According to the revised schedule, the Commission expects to complete the SEF by August 14, 2026, and submit recommendations to the Minister for Industry and Science by October 27, 2026.

This investigation began on November 25, 2025, following applications filed by InfraBuild (Newcastle) Pty Ltd and Steel Reinforcement Institute of Australia (SRIA).

The period for the inquiry is from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, and the injury examination period dates back to July 1, 2021.

The probe involves HS codes 7314.20.00.24, 7314.31.00.37, and 7314.39.00.38.
