Sambhv Steel Tubes Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India's Ministry of Steel on February 9, 2026, entering the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme 1.2 for specialty steel.

The agreement involves both the parent company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Sambhav Tubes Private Limited, with a combined investment commitment of Rs 361.75 crores.

The MoU covers two distinct manufacturing projects focused on significant capacity expansion in specialty steel production. The parent company will establish facilities for manufacturing thin precision gauge stainless steel sheets, and the subsidiary will focus on alloy steel, including stainless steel rolled long products.

This strategic investment marks a major step in Sambhv Steel's expansion within India's specialty steel sector.
