Mexico's Ministry of Economy (SE) announced the initiation of a third sunset review concerning anti-dumping (AD) duties on seamless steel pipes from China. This investigation was launched based on a request from domestic producer Tubos de Acero de México, S.A. (TAMSA).

The review will examine dumping activities from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and assess injury from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2025.

The current AD duties of US$1,252 per metric ton remain in place while the investigation proceeds.

The subject products are seamless steel pipes, excluding stainless steel, with an actual outside diameter equal to or greater than 5 inches (141.3 mm) and less than or equal to 16 inches (406.4 mm), regardless of wall thickness, coating, or steel grade. They are under tariff codes 7304.19.02, 7304.19.99, 7304.39.12, 7304.39.13, 7304.39.91, and 7304.39.99 of the TIGIE.
