ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has introduced two premium steel brands, M/NS Vibrance and AM/NS Optima, to strengthen its presence in the coated steel segments for home appliances and industrial applications. The company aims to raise the share of value-added products to 75% of total revenue.

India’s coated steel demand currently stands at around 11.1 million tons per year and is projected to grow by 8-10% annually. Demand from the appliance sector, supported by urbanization and government initiatives, is expected to remain strong.

The new launches are also intended to reduce reliance on imports and reinforce domestic supply chains.
