US assigns final subsidy rates to CTL plates from South Korea

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced its final results of countervailing duty (CVD) administrative review on certain cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate (CTL plate), determining that the subject goods from South Korea received countervailable subsidies during the period of review spanning from January 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.

As a result, Dongkuk Steel Mill Co., Ltd. received a net countervailable subsidy rate of 2.21%, while Hyundai Steel Company is subject to 1.31%.
