Australia issues final AD ruling on China’s rebar

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission released Notice No. 2026/026 on February 24, 2026, regarding its review of steel reinforcing bars (rebar) imported from China.

Based on the Commission's recommendations, the Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science approved a floor price duty method to calculate anti-dumping (AD) duties for Baowu Group Echeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Echeng).

The subject products are hot-rolled deformed steel reinforcing bars with a diameter up to and including 50 mm, under HS codes 7213.10.00.42, 7214.20.00.47, 7227.90.10.69, 7227.90.90.01, 7227.90.90.02, 7227.90.90.04, 7228.30.10.70, 7228.30.90.40, and 7228.60.10.72.
