The European Commission finalized its first sunset review regarding steel road wheels originating in China on February 26, 2026, determining that the expiry of the existing anti-dumping (AD) measures would likely lead to continued or recurring injury to the regional industry. Therefore, the EU decided to maintain AD duties on these Chinese imports.

Specifically, Xingmin Intelligent Transportation Systems Co., Ltd., Tangshan Xingmin Wheels Co., Ltd., Xianning Xingmin Wheels Co., Ltd., and other cooperating companies face a 50.3% definitive AD duty rate, while all other firms are subject to a 66.4% duty.

The investigation analyzed data from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and assessed industry injury from January 1, 2021, to the end of 2024.

The products involved are under CN codes ex 8708 70 10, ex 8708 70 99, and ex 8716 90 90 (TARIC codes 8708 70 10 80, 8708 70 10 85, 8708 70 99 20, 8708 70 99 80, 8716 90 90 95, and 8716 90 90 97).

These updated measures enter into force on the day after this official announcement.
