The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) completed its anti-dumping (AD) administrative review on hot-rolled steel flat products from the Netherlands. For the review period October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024, the USDOC found that Tata Steel IJmuiden BV sold its products in the American market at prices below normal value.

As a result, a weighted-average dumping margin of 5.67% was assigned to the company. Following this announcement, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will receive assessment instructions within 35 days.

The products involved are certain hot-rolled, flat-rolled steel products, with or without relief patterns, and whether or not annealed, painted, varnished, or coated with non-metallic substances, excluding those clad, plated, or coated with metal. They include coils with a width of 12.7 mm or more, and non-coil products less than 4.75 mm thick, 12.7 mm or more wide, and at least 10 times the thickness, in rectangular, square, circular, or other shapes, including those worked after rolling.
