Taiwan's steel structure firms see rising orders driven by infrastructure and tech projects

Taiwan’s steel structure sector is showing signs of recovery as demand from infrastructure projects and high-tech manufacturing facilities continues to grow. Major companies in the industry, including Tung Ho Steel, China Steel Structure, and Evergreen Steel, have reported positive business performance over the past year.

While the broader steel industry has faced weak market conditions over the past two years, companies specializing in steel structures have maintained relatively stable operations. Many firms have already secured project orders scheduled for completion through the rest of this year and even into early next year.

Analysts say demand from semiconductor plant construction, urban redevelopment, and public infrastructure projects is supporting growth in the sector, and profitability for Taiwan’s steel structure companies could continue to improve this year.
