Acerinox & Jeremias launch low-emission blueline chimney system

11 Mar 2026 14:54 reported by Stanley Wang

A A A
Acerinox and Jeremias have jointly launched Blueline, described as the market’s first line of low-emission chimneys and smoke and gas evacuation ducts aimed at supporting sustainability in the construction sector. The companies said the product is designed to help address climate change while contributing to decarbonization in modern architecture.

The system is based on Acerinox’s EcoACX® stainless steel, which contains more than 90% recycled material and reduces CO₂ intensity by at least 50% compared with standard materials. The steel is produced using 100% renewable energy and includes sustainability indicators validated through a traceability tool developed by Acerinox.

According to the companies, integrating EcoACX® steel into Jeremias’s Blueline range allows architects, engineers, and developers to pursue high-efficiency construction projects. The ducts are designed to maintain durability and technical performance while helping buildings meet international sustainability certifications such as LEED and BREEAM by lowering the carbon footprint of construction components.
