Reliance Inc. subsidiary AMI Metals has obtained two major contracts worth nearly US$2.9 billion.

The first, a US$2.24 billion agreement with the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), involves steel logistics and procurement for Southwest border construction. Running through December 31, 2028, AMI will manage the transport and distribution of steel plates and bollards, with deliveries starting in the second quarter of this year.

A second contract worth US$654 million involves processing aluminum plates for Lockheed Martin platforms, including support to the F-35 Lightning II program.

This five-year deal includes custom-shaped material delivery for various defense platforms. These agreements solidify the company’s role in supplying critical materials for both national security infrastructure and advanced aerospace manufacturing.
