US sets zero AD margin for Japan’s Toyo Kohan in nickel-plated steel review

The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has released the final results of its administrative review of anti-dumping (AD) duties on diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated flat-rolled steel products from Japan.

The review covers imports during the period from May 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024. Authorities determined that products supplied by Toyo Kohan Co., Ltd. (Toyo Kohan), the only producer/exporter subject to this administrative review, were not sold below normal value during the period under investigation. As a result, the company received a weighted-average dumping margin of zero percent.

The decision confirms the preliminary findings previously announced by the USDOC. The ruling means the Japanese producer will not face AD duties for the reviewed shipments.
