The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has announced the final results of its second sunset review regarding rod in coil imports from China.

Following an application by InfraBuild (Newcastle) Pty Ltd in May 2025, the Minister for Industry and Innovation and Minister for Science decided to maintain protection for the local industry.

Starting April 23, 2026, Australia will apply a fixed duty rate of 13.9% using a duty method of combination on all Chinese exporters of the subject goods.

The investigation analyzed dumping data from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, and assessed domestic injury dating back to April 1, 2020. The products involved are under customs codes 7213.91.00.44 and 7227.90.90.02.
