The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICIT) of Ukraine has initiated an anti-dumping (AD) probe concerning steel bar and angle imports from Turkey. Based on Resolution No. AD-595/2026/441-01 dated March 10, 2026, the decision responds to a formal application submitted by domestic producers.

This legal action became effective on March 14, 2026, the date of the official announcement. The commission intends to determine if Turkish exporters are selling these materials at unfairly low prices, potentially damaging the local steel industry.

The products are hot-rolled iron or steel bars and sections. This includes circular bars up to 40 mm in diameter, rectangular bars up to 12 mm thick and 60 mm wide, and square bars with sides up to 20 mm, including those in coils or with surface ribs. The scope also covers hot-rolled L-shaped sections and other shapes under 80 mm in height and other small angles and shapes with a cross-section fitting within an 80 mm square.

The subject goods are classified under UKTZED codes 7213 10 00 00, 7213 91 10 00, 7213 91 41 00, 7213 91 49 00, 7213 91 70 00, 7213 91 90 00, 7213 99 10 00, 7213 99 90 00, 7214 20 00 00, 7214 91 10 00, 7214 91 90 00, 7214 99 10 00, 7214 99 50 00, 7214 99 95 00, 7227 20 00 00, 7227 90 10 00, 7228 20 91 00, 7216 21 00 00, and 7216 50 10 00, excluding specific steel grades 55С2 and 60С2А.
