The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced preliminary results from its administrative review of anti-dumping (AD) duties on heavy walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from South Korea. This review covers the period from September 1, 2023, through August 31, 2024.

Preliminary findings indicated that South Korean exporters did not sell the subject products below normal value during the review period. Estimated dumping margins for Dong-a-Steel and HiSteel are 0%, while Kukje Steel received a 35.11% rate based on the weighted-average dumping margin from other firms, as it was not selected for individual examination.

Besides, the USDOC partially rescinded the review for NEXTEEL due to a lack of suspended entries of subject goods during this period of review.

Final results are expected within 120 days of this announcement.
