EU’s AD duties on China’s utility scale steel wind towers to expire on Dec 17, 2026

2 Apr 2026 14:06 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The European Commission announced that anti-dumping (AD) measures on certain utility scale steel wind towers from China will expire on December 17, 2026.

Active since December 2021, these measures face an expiration date absent a formal request for an extension review. To prevent the termination, EU manufacturers must submit their written requests by September 17, 2026, showing that removing the tariffs would cause dumping and injury to reappear.

If a review begins, the existing taxes stay in effect throughout the investigation period. Without a formal application filed at least three months before the deadline, the trade protections will officially end.
