South Korea decides to impose provisional AD duties on Chinese zinc-coated steel

17 Apr 2026 14:03 reported by Stanley Wang

A A A
The Korea Trade Commission (KTC) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy made a provisional decision to impose anti-dumping (AD) duties on zinc-coated cold-rolled steel under 4.75 mm, widely used in construction, automotive, appliances, furniture, and piping, imported from China. The anti-dumping duties range from 22.34% to 33.67%, depending on suppliers.

The action aims to prevent further injury during the investigation period. The case was filed in November last year by domestic producers, including Dongkuk CM, KG Steel, and Seah CM. The Commission reviewed data and gathered opinions from producers, importers, and consumers. A final decision is expected around September.
