US rescinds AD review on UK’s cold-rolled steel flat products

20 Apr 2026 15:04 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) rescinded an administrative review of the anti-dumping (AD) duties on certain cold-rolled steel flat products from the UK after finding that no subject goods entered the US during the period of review from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2025.

US producers, including Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., Steel Dynamics Inc., Nucor Corporation, and United States Steel Corporation, requested this investigation in September 2025, and the USDOC initiated an administrative review in December.

Since the USDOC received no opposition to its December 18 intent to revoke, the cancellation was then finalized. The absence of import transactions during the review window removed the basis for continued administrative action. Therefore, the inquiry into UK cold-rolled steel imports into the US has concluded.
