BHP signs MOUs to expand innovation collaboration in China

BHP Invent deepened its engagement with China’s innovation ecosystem by signing two Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with China ENFI and BGRIMM Technology Group. The agreements support collaboration in mineral processing, leaching, complex ore treatment, and high-altitude environments.

During its visit, BHP’s innovation team met an organization applying advanced capabilities in robotics, industrial automation, cloud and AI, metallurgy, leaching, and tailings management. The discussions provided insights into technology development and enabled exchanges on common challenges and opportunities across the mining value chain.
