Varsteel Ltd. has acquired the structural steel division of Pacifica Steel Ltd., covering operations in British Columbia and Alberta. 

The acquisition is expected to strengthen Varsteel’s presence across Canada and the United States and enhance its ability to serve a growing customer base. Following the deal, the company will expand its structural steel product range and distribution capabilities. 

Varsteel will offer a broader range of products, including wide flange beams up to 44 inches, making it the largest structural steel distributor in Western Canada. 

With over 900 employees, 33 locations, and more than 70 years of experience, Varsteel continues to strengthen its service and processing capabilities.
