SSAB said it has taken part in the Kruunuvuori Bridge project in Helsinki, Finland, supplying more than 3,000 tons of structural steel to support the development of this major transport infrastructure.

The total steel requirement for the bridge is around 6,300 tons, with SSAB accounting for more than half of the supply, including approximately 1,050 tons of foundation piling material.

The main structure uses SSAB Domex® high-strength steel, with Domex 460ML as the primary grade, enabling a lightweight design while maintaining high strength and long-term durability.

The project also supports goals related to sustainable transport and carbon reduction.
