India’s DGTR recommends antidumping duties on imported coke

4 May 2026 11:31 reported by Alex Tsai

A A A
India’s Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has announced a five-year extension of anti-dumping duties on metallurgical coke, but proposes a lower rate than the current provisional rate.

The DGTR recommends a five-year final anti-dumping duty because metallurgical coke imports continue to pose a threat to domestic producers.

This proposal is currently awaiting approval from the Indian Ministry of Commerce and will be forwarded to the Tax Department under the Ministry of Finance for implementation.
