The European Commission has approved ArcelorMittal SA’s acquisition of full control over ArcelorMittal CLN Distribuzione Italia Srl (AMCLN), previously co-owned with CLN Group since 2015. 

Focusing on flat carbon steel distribution in Italy, the deal was approved under a simplified merger review procedure after the Commission determined that the companies' limited market positions would not raise competition concerns.
