The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission has finalized its anti-dumping (AD) investigation into steel corner beads and angles from China. A 27.8% ad valorem duty applies to non-cooperative and all other Chinese exporters.

This ruling targets products under customs codes 7216.61.00.57, 7216.69.00.58, 7216.91.00.59, 7216.99.00.60, and 7308.90.00.53. The measures exclude plastic and stainless steel corner beading, as well as external render or texture beading.

This decision traced back to a 2025 application by Rondo Building Services Pty Ltd. To determine market impact, the authority analyzed dumping data from July 1, 2023, to June 30, while the injury assessment period reached back to July 1, 2020.
