Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH, a Salzgitter AG subsidiary, has received new certifications for its SECURE steels for use in military equipment. The approvals cover SECURE 400, 450, 500, and 600 grades in expanded thickness ranges from 6 mm to 45 mm.

The company can now meet about 80-90% of the armed forces' demand for armored steel in military vehicles. SECURE 300 and 350 remain in the approval process for specialized solutions.

The updated portfolio will be unveiled at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition in Paris this June.
