Spanish recycling operator Industrias López Soriano, part of the Gescrap Group, selected Danieli Centro Recycling to upgrade its shredder plant in Zaragoza.

Danieli will supply a high-performance preshredder designed to de-bulk incoming material safely, lowering explosion risks and stabilizing feeding to the main shredder.

The new equipment provides operational flexibility by processing a variable scrap mix. It handles up to 110 tph of mixed scrap and end-of-life vehicles, 100 tph of standard bales, and 90 tph of heavy bales.

To improve long-term efficiency and reduce maintenance downtime, the machine includes high-manganese rotors and a modular hydraulic power pack. The project strengthens Danieli's position in the Iberian market while supporting Gescrap's focus on sustainable scrap processing.
