Tenaris to supply pipes and coating solutions for Búzios 9 project in Brazil

Tenaris S.A., a leading global steel pipe supplier headquartered in Luxembourg, has signed a deal with Subsea7 to supply pipes and coating solutions for the Búzios 9 project, operated by Brazilian state-owned energy company Petrobras in the Santos Basin in Brazil.

The contract includes the supply of 102 kilometers of carbon steel pipes for risers and flowlines with thermal insulation coating.

These steel pipes will be produced at Dalmine, Tenaris’s production center in Italy, and the coating process will be performed at Confab in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil.
