Canada is largest buyer of US rebar exports in March

According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), US rebar exports reached around 5,100 tons in March, registering a 4% increase compared to February. However, this volume reflected a 70.5% drop when compared against the same month in 2025.

Canada secured the largest share of American shipments, receiving approximately 2,600 tons, falling by 19.4% month on month and by 75.3% year on year.

Total export value of these products in the month fell to about US$4 million, representing a 12.3% decrease from the prior month and a 72.3% decline from March 2025.
